Even if you're a moon-skeptic, why not give it a whirl and see if it adds a little sparkle to your daily groove? Trust me, the moon's got our back!

Why should you try living with the moon phase and make her your best friend?

The moon has been a glittering muse for humanity since forever! It's the closest thing to our planet and has tinkered with our lives, culture, and even our thoughts! Here are some juicy ways the moon has stirred things up:

Firstly, it's boss at regulating tides, the ocean's heartbeat! This affects marine life and coastal ecosystems, and the moon's magnetic pull also messes with fluids inside us, like blood and other stuff!

Secondly, the moon has inspired heaps of art, literature, and myths from all over. It's been linked to fertility, renewal, and the ups-and-downs of life. Even ancient folks used the moon's phases to track time and create calendars.

Thirdly, the moon's been a hotshot in science too! It was the first chunk of space rock that humans landed on during the Apollo missions, and now scientists are still eyeballing it to better understand our solar system's history and evolution.

Fourth and best one, drumroll please! Researchers have uncovered a fascinating factoid: most ladies' menstrual cycles dance along with the moon's phases! In fact, those under 35 sync up with the full or new moon around 23.6% of the time! It's like a cosmic connection between our bodies and the universe. How cool is that? Overall, the moon has been a cosmic rockstar! Whether we're gawking at it from the sidewalk or poking it with science, the moon remains a fascinating force in our world.

For centuries, humans have been tapping into the moon's mystical vibes to enhance their daily lives. The moon rotates every 29.5 days, and each cycle has a unique energy that can transform your world.

For example, during the new moon, the energy revolves around starting fresh, setting intentions, and kicking off new projects. It's the perfect time to take that first step towards change. On the flip side, the full moon is like a power surge of energy, where you can release what no longer serves you and manifest your deepest desires. It's like a cosmic push to get in touch with your inner goals and take charge of your life.

By tapping into the moon phases, you can connect with your inner intuition and align your goals with the universe's natural rhythm. So, get ready to be swept away by the moon's magic, and let the lunar energy guide you towards your wildest dreams and aspirations.

The Moon's outfits!

The moon has quite the wardrobe, with eight different looks:

  1. New

  2. Crescent

  3. First Quarter

  4. Waxing Gibbous

  5. Full

  6. Waning Gibbous (or Disseminating)

  7. Last Quarter

  8. Waning Crescent (or Balsamic)

It can bear overwhelming to completely go by all the moon phases always but you can start small. If you are following me you know very well you will get updates about the new moon and full moon - so you can work with that. Timing is everything in the art of practice, and the new moon is the perfect moment to start. As the moon itself brightens, you'll find your own energy surging, with more invites to social adventures at the full moon. As the moon wanes, you'll feel the world slowing down and your energy taking a nap.

So start off working with new and full moon energies to stay in rhythm with the moon cycle - especially if you are a woman. That should be enough too!

LADIES LISTEN UP! Here's a fun fact for all the ladies tracking their monthly moon cycle:

  1. If your flow falls around the new moon, (This includes 4-5 days before / after the new moon) you might be starting something fresh, like a new gig, project, or phase in life!

  2. But if you're bleeding during the full moon, (This includes 4-5 days before / after the full moon) it could be time to say ta-ta to any baggage weighing you down, like emotional stress, past traumas, or regrets. It's like hitting the reset button for your soul and womb and release and let go as many times as you need to!

Let's take a journey through the eight lunar phases and discover the best activities to do during each one.

  • New: The Beginning Of The Cycle

This is like the starting line for the moon cycle. It’s an exciting time full of potential and possibilities. Take this time to meditate, journal or read as you wait for inspiration to strike. Reflection and being hopeful is important.

  • Waxing Crescent: 3 To 4 Days After The New Moon

Now that the seed has been planted, it’s time to get your hands dirty. This is a great time to experiment with new activities or styles. Take risks, reach out and initiate conversations. Set intentions.

  • First Quarter: 7 To 8 Days After The New Moon

This is the perfect time to make important decisions and organize your life. It’s also a great time to finalize your to-do list and set clear goals. Take charge and take action.

  • Waxing Gibbous: 11 To 12 Days After The New Moon

It’s time to put the finishing touches on your projects, refine your pitch and prepare for the next phase. This is a busy time, so stay focused and try not to get distracted. Observe and be more patient and willing to learn.

  • Full: 14 Days After The New Moon

This is the time to celebrate all your hard work and show off your accomplishments. Plan a party or event and gather your friends to celebrate your success. Harvest season! Even if you are crying - know that you have won something. It could be you and your inner peace, being protected. You must let go of your worldly expectations and truly surrender now. Anything full requires to be appreciated and honoured. That also means if you feel weird or full of emotions - you must honour them! There is so much beauty in those pouring emotions - they are your responders and stimulus to life! Don't blame the moon lol!

  • Waning Gibbous: 3 To 4 Days After The Full Moon

Now that the party is over, it’s time to network and collect feedback. This is a great time to share ideas, follow up with contacts and seek out inspiration. Practice gratitude now!

  • Last Quarter: 7 To 8 Days After The Full Moon

As the cycle comes to an end, it’s time to reflect on your accomplishments and regroup for the next phase. Take some time for reflective journaling and conversations with close friends. Anything harming you will be revealed during this period - let go and do release rituals now.

  • Waning Crescent: 11 To 12 Days After The Full Moon

This is the end of the cycle and a time to rest and reflect. Clean up your space, let go of regrets and prepare for the next new moon. Take a break and restore your energy for the next cycle. It is good to feel empty now as you make space in your divine vessel for what's coming.
